Yesterday I had the opportunity to play in one of the World’s Largest “Words With Friends” Game thanks to Crystal Light and Zynga. It was open to everyone and was conducted between 8pm-11pm EST. I played a few rounds around 8:45 (had to finish my workout first) and started playing around round 20. Now I’m going to start out by saying “spelling” is not my strong suit, however I do still enjoy a great game with “Words With Friends”. Winning isn’t everything.
Everyone got a chance to play but when the next round started only one word was new. I’m curious how they selected what word was used. Possibly the first word made? Or the word made the most? I think everyone got the same letters because many of us were commenting that we created the same word. At one point there was over 450 people playing (I’m basing this figure on the number of comments-each time you make a word you the system will leave a comment).
I had a great time at the event, but the fun hasn’t stopped. This is the first time ever that Words With Friends is giving away real prizes to winning players who solve a puzzle within your existing game of Words With Friends! So nothing to fret if you missed the event there is still a chance to win.
